Graham Spellman and Krzysz Zablocki decided, in 2002, to create Accounting & Taxation Centre Ltd whose objectives are wider than the usual accounting practice in that the firm gives a more holistic approach to financial advice based on Graham’s and Krzysz’ skills and experience in the whole range of board room, sales, company secretarial and management requirements.

It is a fundamental objective of the firm to become a partner with their clients and to treat each client as an individual, with needs to which the firm’s services are adapted.

The firm’s list of clients ranges from international firms with turnovers in excess of US$50M through UK companies employing in excess of 60 staff to small companies and individuals.

The firm is able to provide a “hands on” solution from beginning to end of the accounting requirement for any client. Naturally, if the firm undertakes the accounting work, it cannot also perform the independent audit. This service also includes the provision of the firm’s own Sage software under bureau licence so that the client does not even need to take responsibility for the usual upgrades. Behind this, there is also the payroll service, again, on a bureau basis. The range of in house services provided to clients varies from simple bookkeeping, VAT Returns, credit control, monthly management accounts, year-end work, preparation of annual accounts, Corporation Tax and Companies House liaison, personal taxation and annual returns, with self employed or partnership accounts, as well as dealing with the Inland Revenue in those cases where clarification or investigation occurs.

Krzysz and Graham are also skilled in the areas of business planning and negotiations, with Banks or other service providers. These skills extend to supporting clients not only in the preparation of their business plans, but to critical path analysis and creative solution provision in all facets of the business, including sales, production and staff.
